My day started with the most amazing sunrise over the Potomac. It ended 12k later watching the USAT .us champions on stage. Deena Kastor held the finish ribbon as Molly Huddle broke her longstanding 12k record.
Meanwhile we chatted up The Black Cactus after his unfortunate hard face-plant coming off the bridge at the 5.5 mile mark. Looked really bad but he was his usual optimistic self. Great morning!
