Sept 29

couple weeks ago was pegged as the big game—I wonder how much that phrase is overused. Surely the most recent big game carried more weight than the previous….and the next one more than this one, etc.  Regardless; it was worth every minute spent prepping and participating for the day. Perhaps the most important was the ability to feel like a normal weekend; in all ways it was a completely normal weekend and really couldn’t have been much better. The simplest of tasks~~~ clean the house, clear the yard, take a nap, make a dish….chill the drinks….watch bits and parts of other games to get in the spirit…. in nearly every sense perfectly normal. Consistently amazed at how so many of these things are taken for granted.
Add to that a win (actually any result would have been a win) and it did make for a really big game.
