Forecast is for rain, possible sleet/snowshowers. These two runners clearly dressed appropriately. What’s not right? Look again…..hands full of de-icer all over the sidewalk. Except in the massive area the exact same complex is flushing out their hydrant. Snow showers…pay for de-icer…..might freeze…..yet drain the hydrant on a busy sidewalk the same day. I asked the hydrant guy about it. He shrugged admitting he’s just doing what he’s told.

Took Samantha for a long walk this evening. Goal was to see the Wallops Island rocket launch. Underdressed, delayed launch meant we headed home early. Bummer. Watched from the comfort of home vs this perfect hillside viewing area.
