RNC-DNC-INC

My plan was to wait until after the Democratic National Convention before even making a final decision about making comments. I couldn’t, I can’t wait. I agree with one post-RNC event commentator who commented something along the lines of……I get that both candidates are decent guys, both want to do well, both care about the country, both are smart, both want to be liked……  what I want is to hear about their concrete plans for the next four years. Instead we get Condi’s lipstick, Rubio’s ‘Me-Me’ speech, VP nominee Ryan’s speech loaded with enough questionable comments that a full-time-employee is needed simply to double-check the facts.
It’s commentary, speeches, feedback and anger like this that make swing/independent voters (like me!) so agitated at both parties, thus both  candidates, that many of us pick door number three or abstain from our voting responsibility. It also fuels the fire of supports of  RonPaul, Ross Perot, Ralph Nadar, Bob Barr and others through the years. The same angst results in my refusal to register for either party, remaining a registered Independent without my own Independent National Convention to support.
Take the weekend to digest the full content of the RNC then reload before next week’s DNC. Since that’s my only option that’s what I’ll do. And hope the DNC planning folks learn a couple lessons from this week and make adjustments accordingly!
