Living Post First 100

As days go, today ranks up near the top to finish off a great week. AMPS+ set a record with a seven canine day~~ plus landed a meeting with a potential new client. That might even be a bit more work than I care to do in a day; especially on a Friday. Cut into my sleep, my paper and coffee time, my normal Friday ride and a few other Friday habits. Difficult to stay upset at a pack of dogs however. Except for the one that kept taunting and running from me with a mouth full of Mesquite beans as I’m trying to leash him to go home from the park. Evasive little guy. Potential new client is a little further out than I’d prefer~~that’s been common–but they’re only a couple blocks off the Rillito River Path so I can bike to their place; I’ll take ’em on contingent on a mutually favorable interview.
The last 2-3 days to finish the week included:
  • another door closer installed (dog safety @ home)
  • some weekend plans firmed up (busy weekend in the desert~~ Winterhaven Festival of Lights, (it’s not H3 but Sunday night we have the Festival of Lights run/food pantry fund raiser) ,
  • 4th Ave Street Festival, (Piper went to the companion spring one in April), Total Lunar Eclipse
  • keep an eye on one of my dogs who had just had (yet another) minor surgery. Pool old gal
  • Last of the lights hung
  • Hung new Hummingbird feeder
  • All water lines re-wrapped with new cover and some rotting wood planks replaced
  • Rooftop ducting around the swamp cooler re-taped
  • Big mess of photos sorted and purged
  • Yet one more run to Goodwill
Capped by the rare chance to watch a televised IA team FB game and a 90 minute u2 documentary. All mundane yet I’ll take it for the last couple days of the week. Stoked about watching the lunar eclipse in the morning; projected to be near perfect viewing conditions.
