Many days during the Monsoon only a brief window exists in the late afternoon to get outside. Otherwise you can be blasted by triple-digit heat(with humidity), sandstorms or monsoon rainstorms. Yesterday was a textbook example.  Late afternoon was best time to fit in a quick run but I waited a little too long and as I was getting ready I looked outside and saw this: A dust storm closely followed by a rainstorm (as indicated by the rainbow). 

Unfortunately I don’t yet have a wide-angle lens so needed to grab the massive rainbow but you get the idea. It was a massive storm. No problem: hopped on the trainer(protected under the back patio), had the pups come out and watched it roll in and through while on the bike.

All was made better when Ames brought me a treat (second day in a row). Today’s treat was…….

Season tickets had arrived!!!! Yeah!! Only a couple more weeks before the first home game!! (that beat out the chocolate bar treat from the night before).
